    Both are equally good but as per my knowledge and findings, students definitely would like to go for civil engineering at IIT Delhi but Lovely Professional University which is the best place for B.Tech civil engineering. An Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation.     Dear Akshdeep, No doubt, Civil at IIT Delhi is better. My friend did B.Tech in CSE at LPU, so I can provide details of CSE at LPU with you. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement.     LPU has a very highly educated faculty and it follows the curriculum of what Industry needs for next generation. Here In LPU B.Tech in any branch have scope if we talk about placements. 600+ companies visits every year for placements. Education system always stays updated.     If you are able to get civil engineering at IIT, Delhi than there are chances that you can get CSE in IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar, IIT Pallakad and IIT Jodhpur, IIT BHU and IIT Patna (less certainly for previous two) for dual degree course. Moreover, the answer to your question prefer IIT-D for civil over LPU CSE.

    But I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how.
