What is better: B.Tech civil engineering at IIT Delhi or computer science engineering at Lovely Professional Institute?

Both are equally good but as per my knowledge and findings, students definitely would like to go for civil engineering at IIT Delhi but Lovely Professional University which is the best place for B.Tech civil engineering. An Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. LPU is renowned in teaching, placements, infrastructure, and other facilities too. Some of the major points to be considered are: 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc. 3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by the CSE department such as AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc. 4. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc. 5. LPU provides many scholarships for bright and innovative students. Dear Akshdeep, No doubt, Civil at IIT Delhi is better. My friend did B.Tech in CSE at LPU, so I can provide details of CSE at LPU with you. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc. Apart from this other many benefits are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics as well as extracurricular activities. LPU has a very highly educated faculty and it follows the curriculum of what Industry needs for next generation. Here In LPU B.Tech in any branch have scope if we talk about placements. 600+ companies visits every year for placements. Education system always stays updated. Hello AKash, I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies: Structural. Hydraulics. Environment. Geotechnica. Transportation. As per my friend's experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. If you are able to get civil engineering at IIT, Delhi than there are chances that you can get CSE in IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar, IIT Pallakad and IIT Jodhpur, IIT BHU and IIT Patna (less certainly for previous two) for dual degree course. Moreover, the answer to your question prefer IIT-D for civil over LPU CSE.

But I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how.
