I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Hello AKash, I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. If you are able to get civil engineering at IIT, Delhi than there are chances that you can get CSE in IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar, IIT Pallakad and IIT Jodhpur, IIT BHU and IIT Patna (less certainly for previous two) for dual degree course. Moreover, the answer to your question prefer IIT-D for civil over LPU CSE.
