What is better for civil services- BA political science (Honours) or BA economics (Honours)?

Dear,
Through both the programmes, you can prepare for civil services exam but as a professional degree, I would prefer Economics (Honors) Programme because if you not able to crack the exam. Then, you can start your job or further education for growth, knowledge and opportunities.
