    In 2024, Carleton University ranks at #601-650 in QS World University Rankings. The university has been consistently placed at the same position since 2021. As per the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, Carleton University ranks at #601-800 position in 2023 and 2022. In case of global universities rankings by U.S. News & World Report, Carleton University ranks at #526 position. As compared to the last year, this year the ranking of Carleton University has declined in the U.S. News & World Report's ranking, but it still ranks slightly above the top 500 universities worldwide.
