For a non-Maharashtra students, it is very rare that one will get admission through CAT score, because the DTE consider all the exams like GMAT, ATMA at the same level and cut off for which is above 98%. CAT cutoff for admission is more than 99 percentile, since not much seat are available through this quota. These seats fall under All India level occupancy. Students outside Maharashtra state can also give MAH CET, so you can try for it as well.

CAT cutoff for MBA+ is usually more than 99 percentile, and it may also depend on the paper i.e. it is easy or hard.

For getting admission into MBA+ in PUMBA, you at least require 98.5+ percentile. The reason is that PUMBA follows CAP process as per directed by DTE, according to which CAT CMAT ATMA CET scores are equally considered and the cut off itself begins from 99.9 percentile which drops down to 98 or 97.

There is no CAT PI shortlist for IIMs. Candidates have to simply login with their CAT credentials and fill the PI shortlist form.

There is no minimum qualifying marks for CAT. Anybody scoring above 0 in the exam is eligible for admission, however the B-Schools select candidates on the basis of cut offs which are 60 and above percentile.

The final CAT cutoff are not released publically. However, candidates can check qualifying cut offs in the admission criteria document released by IIMs and other institute before the exam.

CAT cut off is prepared by all accepting colleges individually. There is no one authorized body to do so. Even the IIMs determine their admission cut offs separately.
