What is COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria?

<p>The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) releases the COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria through its notification. The COMEDK UGET exam is open to Indian citizens, OCI, and PIO candidates. OCI and PIO applicants must get an eligibility certificate from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, before applying online. Only those who fulfil the COMEDK 2026 eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria state:</p><ul><li>Qualified the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognised by the State / Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English</li><li>The General Merit candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and pass these subjects individually.</li></ul>

<p>With the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) approaching close.The candidates are eligible to participate in COMEDK UGET only if :&nbsp;</p><p>1) candidate must have completed their PUC or 10+2 examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (PCM) stream with at least 45 percent ( 40 for general category) from a well recognised Educational Board or institute.&nbsp;</p><p>2) Candidate must have English as subject during their (10+2) studies.&nbsp;</p><p>3) Optional subjects along with mandatory Physics and Mathematics are Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics. If any possible changes, examination criteria of AICTE/VTU will be followed.</p><p>4) candidates with Diploma degrees are not eligible for COMEDK UGET Examination since there is no mention of lateral entry admissions.&nbsp;</p><p>To know more about the examination, refer to the official website of COMEDK UGET Examination.</p>

Applicants filling the COMEDK 2025 application form are advised to check the eligibility criteria. For more details, candidates can check the information below.</p><ol><li>The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. /B.Tech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognised by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.</li><li>The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.</li><li>An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank lists.</li><li>Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.</li></ol>
