What is commercial law? Where I will get this specialisation?

<p><strong>Commercial law, also known as <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/law/business-law-chp">Business Law</a> or <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/law/corporate-law-chp">Corporate Law</a></strong>, is the body of law that applies to the rights, relations, and conduct of persons and businesses engaged in commerce, merchandising trade, and sales. It is often considered to be a branch of <strong>Civil Law</strong> and deals with issues of both private law and public law. Commercial law includes within its compass such titles as principal and agent; carriage by land and sea; merchant shipping; guarantee; marine, fire, life, and accident insurance; bills of exchange, negotiable instruments, contracts and partnership.</p><p>Most of the colleges or the universities that offer 1 year <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/ll-m-chp">LLM</a> have their own entrance examinations.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The LLM programme is divided into three trimesters.</strong> There are three streams of one-year LL. M. Programme in IILM University School of Law; with specialisation in: 1. Corporate and Commercial Law 2. Criminal and Security Law 3. Alternate Dispute Resolution System Career Opportunities post LLM: After successfully completing this programme, one may choose a career as specialization lawyers, working in corporates, public offices, professors, judges, diplomats, human rights activists, researchers, business professionals etc.</p>
