What is communication design? Does this course have a good scope?

<p>We are living in an age of information and this information is useful only if accessed by and communicated to each other. Thus pretty much everywhere today some communication strategy and techniques need to be designed and implemented, whether it is through books, brochures, catalogues, or in today's digital world through websites, apps or other social media. Besides this we are also entering an era of highly experiential digital environments like <strong>Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Gaming, Animation</strong> etc. All these disciplines need designers who can make sense of all this information and present it in such a way that it can be easily understood and also can be easily used. Training to learn these skills and processes of how to communicate with each other and even with machines can be said to be the basis of<a href="https://www.shiksha.com/design/communication-design-chp"> Communication Design</a>. Sometimes it can also be referred to as Visual Communication. As you can see by the number of areas where it is applicable and WILL be applicable is increasing thus offering tremendous scope for growth and career opportunities in the field of Communication Design.</p>
