Dear Vasudev, Counseling psychology is a psychological specialty that encompasses research and applied for work in several broad domains: counseling process and outcome; supervision and training; career development and counseling; and prevention and health. One of my friends did his M.A. In psychology at LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I will highly recommend an M.A. In psychology at LPU only based on feedback by my friend. In the modern curriculum in perspective of employability M.A. In Clinical Psychology is having great weightage. Recently I was vetting some curriculum shared with various universities who offers courses in Psychology, I came across the curriculum shared by Lovely Professional University. LPU at the Masters level provides two courses M.A. (Clinical Psychology) & M.A. (Psychology) : Eligibility :- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. They offer Elective courses from within the discipline, to give more depth or breadth to a student's core competencies.
