What is credit transfer option at LPU for study abroad programs?

Dear Vaibhavi, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. International Credit Transfer: Student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given the option to join a partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of the programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. You may go to other countries as well such as UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Italy, etc. Under international credit transfer. Benefits of International Credit Transfer Programme - Summer/Winter Schools are generally run by expert faculty in their particular field. Hence the applicant would gain academically quite a lot. Make new friends. Summers Schools are attended by students around the world hence meeting new people and making new friends. Connections with the faculty for your higher education. Budget-Friendly. This means the students who are interested in getting InternationalExposure can with fewer budgets apply for these summer /Winter School Programs. Learning the new country culture and sightseeing, as this kind of summer/winter programme includes cultural excursions and visiting places of historical importance. Hi Vaibhavi, International credit transfer programs allow students to move to a foreign partner university after spending generally half of the programme duration at LPU. In such a case a student gets the final degree from the foreign partner university. It is extremely cost-effective because you start the degree at LPU and save by paying only two-year fees or one-year fees of the foreign partner university. Semester Exchange programme: In the semester exchange programme, students get an opportunity to study a full semester at our partner universities around the world and finish their degree at LPU. From living in a foreign country with a different cultural setting to staying with foreigners, a semester abroad is like getting an international education in 5 months.

Hello! Under credit transfer opportunity, student can study part of the programme (generally two years in case of Undergraduate programme or 1 year in case of Masters programme) at LPU and complete the rest of his/her degree at a partner foreign university from USA, UK Canada, Australia or other countries. In such case students get the final degree from the foreign University abroad with which he/she completes later part of the degree. It is cost effective as it saves almost 50% of the cost to get a degree from the overseas university. Eligibility and Other Requirements: To avail the opportunity of credit transfer student need to fulfill the following requirements (depending on the Partner University):#Have a valid passport#Have an English Proficiency test.
