The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CTET is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8. The CTET exam involves two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for those candidates who wish to teach Classes I-V and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes VI-VIII.
