For interview: 98.6 percentile. For the realistic chance of converting the interview call - 99.6+ percentile.

You should have more than 99 percentile in CAT if you want to get into FMS. However, to increase the percentage of non-engineering background ratio in the class room, FMS has started giving sectional weightage importance so if you are from non-engineering background and have a better sectional performance you still have a chance.Apart from scoring a high percentile in CAT 2016, candidates will have to ensure that they also score a high sectional score as each section will be awarded varying weightage at the time of shortlisting. A composite score shall be computed giving weightages of 30%, 30%, and 40% to the scores of QA, DI/LR and VRC sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT 2016 examination for candidates who apply to FMS. Following is the example:- If a candidate scores 99 percentile in CAT 2016 but has a low percentile in VARC and higher percentile in quant and DI/LR sections he may stand less chances to be shortlisted by FMS than the candidate who has scored 97 percentile overall in CAT 2016 but has higher percentile in VARC and slightly low percentile in quant and DILR.
