    Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. D. EL. Ed Course is a 2 years Diploma degree programme. Diploma in Elementary Education programme aims at preparing the enrolled candidates to work in primary/ upper primary schools, that means classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. The candidates after completing the programme can apply for a job as teachers teaching at the primary level in schools. The programme is of total 4 semesters that includes classroom course mixed with practical training and internships.     D.Ed is a Diploma certificate teacher training programme. D.Ed Course can be pursued by students who have passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognised board. The course has been designed to improve the elementary level teacher workforce in India.
