Hi,
Both the courses, B.Arch and B.Planning are related yet different courses, the scale of operations differs in both. In architecture, you design spaces like buildings and surroundings, whereas, in planning, you design layouts to cities.

Study of B.Arch involves the basic to the most advanced things of architecture. An architect is basically a professional who deals with the design and construction of buildings. A planner deals with the planning that is a must for certain human settlements.
