mba is of two years only but if you have done pgdbm, then you can get lateral entry (direct admission to mba 2nd year) it is called one year mba

MBA with valid AICTE & UGC is only 2 years so better you will see websites of AICTE,UGC&DEC for further any clarifications.....

not much difference except for the fact that whatever one studies in 2 years is accomodated in 1 year course for 1 yr MBA. mostly these 1 year mba is meant for executive people who carry some years of experience. The biggest difference comes in study burden which is comparatively lesser in case of 2
