What is difference between AICTE/UGC approval and SIRO recognition?

There is a difference. SIRO recognition is about a quality of the institute whereas UGC recognition is all about recognition of the degree being awarded. NICMAR is a very reputed institute in construction and project management. If you want to apply for higher studies as well as public sector job, immigration abroad, the university as well as degree must be recognized by UGC and the degree must be awarded as per the minimum specification prescribed by UGC. For specialised course, a separate approval from such professional body is required such as a MBBS degree must have recognition from Medical Council of India and mere being a UGC approved university is not sufficient. AICTE is a professional body and any engineering as well as management degree (BE /B.Tech, MBA, MCA and Diploma in engineering as well as PhD in engineering. management) must have AICTE approval in order to being eligible for public sector job, higher education in India and abroad.
