What is difference between B.Tech in ICT or ICT with CS and which branch is best? After completing B.Tech are we eligible for GATE,UPSC ?

    The difference between B. Tech ICT and ICT + CS is like CS is icing the cake of ICT. There is no difference for first 3 semesters, but from the 4th semester, the guys pursuing CS have one more core subject. Better one is, of course, ICT+CS (but remember there is too much work for CS students in 3rd year). Yes, you are eligible to appear for GATE and UPSC exams.
  • It is just like a general graduation so yes you are eligible for all entrances after your graduation.
    To answer your 1st question there is not much difference between ICT and ICT with a CS, in CS you just have to take a couple of extra core (compulsory) courses and nothing else. The placements do not vary much but we can't say because only one batch of CS has passed out.
