Dear Puneet, Both are wonderful universities, however if you are considering options available in northern locale of the country I would recommend Chandigarh University for your higher study. I don't know about differences but there is a relation. The founder of BITS Pilani, Shri Ghanshyam Das Birla (widely known as Shri GD Birla) had two sons: Shri. KrishnaKant Birla (Shri K. Birla) and Shri Basant Kumar Birla (Shri B. K. Birla). Shri K. Birla was made the chancellor of BITS Pilani after the demise of Shri GD Birla. Shri B. K. Birla is the chancellor of BKBIET. Also, Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla, the current chancellor of BITS Pilani is the grandson of Shri B. K. Birla.
