what is difference between ca and cs??what is easier ca or cs???what do u suggest me as i am not that good at studies..i got 84% in my 12th.

Hi Mohit, there is tremendous scope in almost every field possible. The post of a Company Secretary is to act as the mediator between the company and its Board of Directors, and the CS provides guidance to the Chairman and the Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various laws. The CA course is pursued by those who wish to pursue a career in financial accounting and auditing. The admission to both the fields is mostly after graduation in any discipline, but candidates can enroll after passing their 10+2 in order to start the foundation course while candidates who have completed their graduation with 55% marks are enrolled directly. A person can become CA after passing exams conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a candidate person can become a CS only after passing exams conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Candidates who have passed the course in CA can find employment in the fields of Finance, Corporate finance, Management consultancy, etc, whereas, CS can find employment in government accounts or law departments or can become a MD or Chairman of a Company and be a part of the Board of Directors of a Company. Hi, With the rapid growth in economy, careers in finance and accounts have gained tremendous popularity and the most prestigious career option in this filed is that of Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary. Both are dynamic, challenging and rewarding profession. The decision whether to take CA or CS depends mainly on the individual interests. A person should always think whether he/she would be able to deliver his best in a particular course. Hence the basic motive while selecting a course should always rely on a point whether the best potential can be delivered. Those who look at an independent career like practicing professional accounting, chartered accountancy would be better suited as the opportunities for practicing are more in that profession. Those who look at working in an administrative environment dealing with legal aspects may look at company secretaryship as it involves in depth aspects relating to company law and its application to companies. The most important aspect is to possess keen interest and passion for the subject.
