The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi administers the entrance exam for admission to postgraduate programmes such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). INI CET scores are valid for admission to 18 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum. The acronym INI SS stands for Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test. AIIMS administers the exam for admission to Post Doctoral programmes, DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration, at 11 institutes, including 8 AIIMS. The exam takes place twice a year, in January and July.</p>
