What is difference between MS and MSc(Tech)? Is MSc(tech) is equivalent to Master's degree? MSc(Tech) after B-Tech will be useful?

I am B-Tech in ECE. Want to do Executive MS in VLSI-CAD from MAnipal. But seems Manipal is not providing MS degree from this year instead they are providing MSc(Tech). So can you please let me know MSc(Tech) is still a master's degree? And is it useful after B-TEch?
