What is difference between part time MBA and Executive MBA?

Hi Tiwari, Prospects wise and placement wise, both the courses- part time MBA and Executive MBA are almost same. The difference is in duration of the course. In part time MBA, classes are usually held in the evening hours or in the weekends and holidays. Duration of the part time MBA program is usually of 3 years. While, executive MBA programs last for one years or less and designed for working managers and executives. What really sets this program apart from many other MBA programs is the level of experience and insights that students bring to the program. In such programs student’s professional experience and expertise becomes an integral part of the curriculum. Courses offered are normally the same as those taught in traditional MBA programs– accounting, finance, statistics, management, marketing and information systems. Hope it helps.
