Direct admission in BITS Goa is offered only to candidates who are the state Board Toppers. Their BITSAT scores are considered, only if they have the highest aggregate in PCM/are Science stream toppers. Generally, BITS Pilani admission to most of the courses is based on candidates' performance on the BITSAT and BITS HD entrance tests.

However ,direct admission into BITS Goa is not an option available to other candidates. The admission process for BITS Goa is solely based on the candidate's performance in the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT), supplemented by considerations such as their academic history, preference for specialization, and the availability of seats. Yes, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to Integrated First Degree and Higher Degree courses across the streams of Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities. If a candidate is a central/ state board topper, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to the specialisation of his choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. Generally, BITS Pilani admission to most of the courses is based on candidates' performance BITSAT and BITS HD entrance test. Apart from the entrance test scores, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by the institute.
