DRx is an informal prefix commonly used by pharmacists to represent their profession, particularly in India. It stands for “Drug Expert” or “Doctor of Pharmacy”, indicating the pharmacist's expertise in the field of medications, drug therapy, and patient care.
Unlike the “Dr.” title, which is legally recognised for medical doctors and Pharm D graduates, “DRx” has no official recognition or legal status.
