    ECE basically involves researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic equipment used in various systems. If you want an example, semiconductor industry would be the perfect examples. The whole semiconductor industry is based upon Electronics and Communication Engineers. The 4G, 5G data speeds all come under ECE.
