ECE is a field that requires the use of electronics in order to solve problems. It deals with gadgets, such as cell phones, goggles, computers, cameras, and many others. Electronics and communication engineering fields are sometimes asked to improve the speed and efficiency of devices so they can be used more widely. The whole semiconductor industry is based upon Electronics and Communication Engineers. The 4G, 5G data speeds all come under ECE.
