There is no criteria as such. It is a profile based selection. Entrance scores have a 50% marks weightage, Work experience 5%, past academics 15%, GA 15% and PI 15%.
ILS are institute level seats for which one can apply, once the ILS notification is out. You will then be called for an interview base

ILS has the the seats granted by university to colleges, wherein the colleges can fill the seats whichever way they want.
20% of the intake comes under ILS.

There are specific number of seats allotted for Institute itself which institute fills up on their own. Usually the cut off for ILS seats is almost same as cap round cut off. Last year it was 98.88.
