B.Tech Engineering Physics is an undergraduate degree programme of four academic years. The basic eligibility to take admission in this course is to have a 10+2 passing degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Engineering Physics is the study of combined disciplines of theoretical physics, mathematics and engineering. This is one of the engineering disciplines that have the most theoretical contents. In India, it is offered only in few institutes, namely, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Hyderabad.
