Pema, in event management, the person who plans and executes the event, taking responsibility for the creative, technical and logistical elements. This includes overall event design, brand building, marketing and communication strategy, audio-visual production, script writing, logistics, budgeting, negotiation and client service. The event manager monitors all aspects of the event on site. -
Event management is the course which an individual can take if the individual is good in socialising, organising and has the basic knowledge of persuasion. As India is developing rapidly, event managers are enjoying more number of customers. In simple words, event managers are the people who organise parties, get together and sometimes wedding.They organise the decoration, food, invitations and other kinds of stuff according to the choice of the customers. If you are going to start studying now, you will have more chances in the metros and social hubs but within a decade small cities are going to start hiring you too.

It is either a Diploma in event management as PGDM or MBA in event management. There are various national level institutes such as National Academy of Event Management-Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Ahmedabad, and other institutes such as MICA-Ahmedabad, IIMC-Delhi, Jamia Milia-Delhi, etc., which provide courses in event management.
