Hi there, LPU offers B.Design (Fashion) that provides students with extensive input in design and technology which is necessary to begin a career in fashion industry. Its curriculum includes 21st century digital technologies relevant to design. It has duration of 4 years. The eligibility criteria is - Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Or Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID DAT (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT or NIFT B.FTech.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject. Modern Tool Usage : Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, moderntechnology and IT tools for adaptive modelling to developdesign solutions. The Designer and Society : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professionaldesign practice.
