B.Tech in food technology is a Bachelor's degree course in Food Technology. This course deals with various applications of food science like preservation, distribution, processing, selection, packaging, etc. The candidates who have completed B.Tech in food technology have a huge demand in the food sector of India. Few government companies in the food sector of India are:
1) Public distribution shops in different parts of India

Food Technology has a wide career scope in government and private sectors with the fast growing industry in India and abroad. One can get job in food processing industries, research laboratories, hotels, soft drink factories, rice mills, hospitality industry, packaging industries, manufacturing industries and distilleries.
