What is full form of GAT?

<p>GAT stands for GITAM Admission Test. It's an entrance exam that's required for admission to a variety of UG and PG courses offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). GAT is conducted as a computer-based test in various states of India and as an online proctored test for certain courses. GAT serves as the common test for admissions into all GITAM campuses, including Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and GIMSR. The duration of the exam ranges from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the course. The exam is of objective type, consisting of multiple-choice questions. There are four options for each question, and only one of them is correct. Each correct answer is awarded 1 or 2 marks, while wrong answers and unanswered questions receive nil marks. Candidates who successfully clear the GAT are then invited to complete the admissions process and finalize their admission at the GITAM campuses.</p>

<p>The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.</p>
