  • GATE is a national-level examination that aims to evaluate the knowledge and aptitude of candidates in preparation for admission to engineering and management programmes. The GATE Exam has three major sections: General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and the Core subject the candidate has opted for. The Engineering mathematics syllabus is almost same for every paper however, in some paper some topics may be added or removed from the given syllabus as per the requirement of the specific subject. The topics covered under the GATE Engineering Mathematics syllabus are as follows:

    GATE Engineering Mathematics Syllabus contains undergradudation level mathematics topics. Candidates can check topics listed; Linear Algebra, Matrix Algebra, Complex Analysis, Real Analysis, Calculus, Differential Equations, Limit and Continuity, Probability, Permutaion and Combination, Binomial Distributions, Numerical Methods.

No, a duplicate GATE 2026 admit card will not be provided at the test center. Candidates must carry their own admit card along with the mentioned documents and items to the GATE exam center. IIT Guwahati will release the GATE admit card on January 2.
