    GATE( Graduate aptitue test in engineering) is the common entrance examination for admission to post graduate courses in engineering and Technology. The Gate scores are used by Engineering colleges to select candidates for Post Graduate courses in Engineering and technology. You need to be a B.Tech/B.E/ B. Arch./M.Sc to be eligible to appear for GATE.
