What is GATE for? Can you give details about this exam?

Hi, How are you?
Well, Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering is somehow necessary for core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical for PSUs or doing M.Tech from a better college.
You can give 2 attempts of it after doing a Bachelor degree. Then on the basis of SSC HSC UG grades and GATE score, you will get rank. If you get a good rank under 500, you will get a call from PSUs or else you will go for M.Tech.
Thank you and keep asking! -
