One can attempt the exams as many times he/she wants. GATE has no restriction and also there is no age limit.

Graduate Aptitude test in engineering is help you to do your Post Graduate cores in high level college like IITs, NITs etc. And yes definitely you'll be able to government gob apply process. It will bring your salary at vey high level.

Hello Harsh Morasiya, GATE General Aptitude Test Of Engineering) is a competitive exam to get admission in IITS and NITS for post graduation courses. If you score good rank in GATE you can take admission in top IITS for M.Tech.

GATE stands for "graduate aptitude test in engineering. It is pursued for getting admissions to IIT's and NIT's for the PG course after B.Tech/BE.
