    Hello Parth,
    To take admission in genetic engineering at graduate level you need to clear 10+2 with biology, chemistry and mathematics as well as genetics as part of the biology. Most universities don't offer it as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry.

    Genetic engineering is direct manipulation of an organism's genome using biotechnology. It is set of technologies used to change the genetic makeup of cells including the transfer of genes within and across specific boundaries to produce improved and novel organisms
