The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test intended to assess analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in English of candidates. Most of the good international B-schools use GMAT score for MBA admission. Some Indian B-schools also use GMAT score for their MBA admission.

GMAT is required for admission to most business schools. It is a computer-adaptive test.Scores valid for 5 years. Its cost is $250
The structure of GMAT exam :
It has four sections :
1. Analytical Writing Assessment - Analysis of Argument (30 Minutes)
2. Integrated Reasoning- Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, Table Analysis(30 Minutes)
3. Quantitative- Problem Solving, Data Sufficiency (75 Minutes)
4. Verbal- Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, Sentence Correction(75 Minutes) GMAT verbal puts more emphasis on grammar, logic and reasoning skills.
Total Exam Time - 3 hrs, 30 minutes -
