What is good about the MBA program in TAPMI? Why should a student aspire to study MBA from TAPMI?

The main mission of T. A. Pai Management Institute is to redefine learning methodologies with innovation and to provide exceptional professionals for the industry. This institute has been set up in Manipal. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The institute was set up in the year 1984. They are not having MBA programme. As Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities while the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). But both the courses having equivalent value. You can do PGDM, PGDM- health care and PGDM- banking and financial service. They also have Ph.D. programme.

You can't do an MBA from TAPMI even if you try, you could only do a PGDM. There is a huge difference between doing an MBA and doing a PGDM course. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities while the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
