    Graphic design is the process of communicating ideas and information with color, images and typography. Applications of graphic design include, but are not limited to:
    1. Signage
    2. Electronic visual media.
    3. Educational media.
    4. Public information.
    5. Advertisement.
    6. Packaging.
    7. Product design and
    8. Personal communication.
    In short, if you can do it with words and pictures, an experienced designer can make it work better. Looking better is not always the goal, though it is nice. Sometimes, you just need to find something, like an exit or a restroom or a safety warning.

    Graphic design, also known as communication design, is the art and practice of planning and projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content. Graphic designers are visual communicators who design and develop print and electronic media, such as magazines, television graphics, logos and websites.
