Candidates must be Indian citizens with a Gujarat domicile. They must be at least 17 years old and have qualified Class 12 with PCM or PCB from a recognised board.

The candidate must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and a Technical Vocational topic as required along with Physics and Mathematics.

The eligibility criteria to appear in GUJCET is

Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12
Candidate must be of minimum 17 year age to appear in GUJCET
Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/any other vocational subject for Paper 1 (BE/BTech).
