The candidate must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and a Technical Vocational topic as required along with Physics and Mathematics.

The eligibility criteria to appear in GUJCET is
- Candidate must have passed or appearing in class 12
- Candidate must be of minimum 17 year age to appear in GUJCET
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/any other vocational subject for Paper 1 (BE/BTech). For paper 2, candidates need to have Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any other subject combination.
Every candidate must ensure they fulfill the GUJCET eligibility criteria failing which their candidature can get cancelled.
