What is IATA? Please tell me more about the various programmes offered by the IATA foundation?

IATA also give certification in various course, which is needed at airport and in aircraft. IATA give training to students for joining this field. They make curriculum and planning for the study, for the students who want to make their career in this field. Many or almost all airlines are its member. It provides standards for different training aspects of aviation training. These standards then become norm for training centers in almost all countries. Once a training agency gets IATA nod, the students are assured of jobs in the industry. IATA training offers most flexible training schedule. It could be classroom based, it could be via distance learning, it could be via virtual classroom etc. In addition to this, its courses ate designed for fresh recruits, for in-house training of airlines personnel, mid-career courses, etc. The best part is that it looks ahead and plans for courses for what is awaiting us future also. All in all it can be said that due to efforts of IATA there is standard of training across airlines and across countries. Thank you.

International Airlines Transport Association is the full form of IATA. As aircraft run all over the world, so there is a need of international body who check and regulate these airlines properly. Right now, IATA consist of 278 airlines over 117 countries all over the world, which makes the total of 83% of all crowd in airways. IATA mainly see the safety and security of their passenger. Dear, IATA is an acronym used for 'International Air Transport Association'. It is a consortium of the major worldwide airlines, focused on safety, regulatory uniformity and generally making global commerce easier. In other words, we can say that IATA is a kind of a language through which an airline communicates through other airlines and the airports. For Example: The Origin and Destination Codes an airline is using is certified by International Air Transport Association. Following are the specialisations under which IATA offers Diplomas: (1) Air Navigation Service. (2) Airline. (3) Airport. (3) Cargo (4) Civil Aviation Authority. (5) General Corporate. (6) Ground Service. (7) Travel Agency, These are some Diploma offered by IATA Foundation. Diplomas usually consist of four courses.
