Hi,
To get eligible for the entrance exam you should obtain about 60% in your board exam. Exam pattern includes physics, chemistry, maths, general knowledge, and English grammar.

IMU stands for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test. The entrance test would contain questions pertaining to physics, chemistry, logical reasoning, English and mathematics. The candidate would also have to pass all medical tests in compliance with the requirements laid down by the Directorate General of Shipping also the basic eligibility criteria which are as follows:
* To pursue a B.Tech in marine engineering, a candidate must have cleared 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognised board or university under the science stream with compulsory subject’s physics, chemistry and maths.
