The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test is the AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to Postgraduation courses such as MS (Masters of Surgery), MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Dental Surgery), DM (Doctorate of Medicine), and M.Ch. (Master of Chirurgiae). INI CET stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. It is a national level examination conducted by AIIMS, Delhi to assess students' skills etc. and their subject knowledge. Previously there were different examinations for admissions but now only INI CET is conducted for all admissions to all the medical Institutes. AIIMS uses this to fill 977 seats in various PG courses such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM). The exam frequency is twice a year, January and July.
