The job of a TV news anchor is exciting as well as challenging. One has to stay abreast of all the recent events happening in the news segment or the sports, depending on your domain. Also, one has to be good at managing time because the deadlines and schedules of news agencies and thus the news reporters are very tight.

It requires great communication skills and a lot of enthusiasm and energy because no one would listen to someone with less or no energy. So, overall the job is rewarding as well as interesting for the one who loves what they do.
