What is its fee and eligibility criteria for BA (Hons.) in journalism? What is its duration & what sort of placements are provided?

Duration- 3 years Eligibility- 1. Entrance test- you need to have a fair idea of the current affairs and general and basic history of the country and its media (newspaper, TV, radio; just basic). It isn't too tough. 2. Personal interview- Just a formal chit chat to get to know your skill set and temperament for a decent success in the course, your expectations put of the university and the course and your willingness to learn. Fees- 1. For the students outside Karnataka- Rs 80,000 for the first year and Rs 60,000 for the next two years; 2. For Karnataka students- Rs 60,000 for all the three years. Placements- I'm sorry, I cannot answer that now as the first batch is yet to graduate, but the other courses that had journalism as one of their subjects got their placements in top news media organizations (and also other forms of media) like CNN, Times Now, etc. We are expected to be placed in the same field, rather better, but I can't be definite about it. I can only tell after my batch graduates. Good luck.
