The fee for B.Tech in LPU is around 1.5 lakhs including all the charges (approximately), but if you give entrance exam, they will provide you with the scholarship as per your rank and also on the basis of JEE Mains and class 12th marks, so you will end up paying between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs. The college is a bit costlier but then it also provides you with all the luxuries.

Dear Arpit, Being alumni of LPU, I can share details of the BTech programme at LPU. My cousin did Civil Engineering there, so I am sharing details with you. So, following are the highlights of Civil Engg in LPU: - 1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of B. Tech program in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship program which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can see actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. 5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives. 6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few. 7. Career oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. None the less, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is prerequisite for any Civil Engineer. 8. Every theory course is complemented with relevant lab-based practical work. Some of the labs are based on field testing where experimental work is to be done, e.g. Soil Lab & Surveying Lab. Hi Arpit, In LPU, your fee depends on your own performance in your board exams and entrance cum scholarship exam (LPUNEST) conducted by Lovely Professional University. Fee for B.Tech programme is Rs. 98,000 per semester. # You will be very fortunate to study in LPU which has clinched the position among top 80 best Institutions of the country. Where placements are not a t all a problem. Be relaxed for the career ahead, because LPU provide ample of opportunities to get decent job during the final year of the degree by bringing more than 700 industry giants for recruitments. # Many LPU students are already working in Silicon valley. Now this something really big. Recently one of the computer Science engineering student got placed in Microsoft India at the package of 42 LPA. # LPU is not stopable here, they always strive make the best in students by providing them industrial exposure, by nurturing them through Personality enhancement programs from the very semester. Fee for B.Tech programme is Rs. 90,000 per semester. You can get direct admission on the basis of JEE Mains score and can also avail scholarship on the basis of qualifying exam’s score or LPUNEST entrance test conducted by LPU. For more details, please refer university’s website.

It varies from institute to institute. In KIIT and such other private universities, it is approximately 18 lakhs and in a government institute around 35K per year. In IITs, it is around 1.8 lakhs per year.
