  •  The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) exam date 2024 will be announced soon by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on the official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Candidates are advised to check the JAC official website regularly for latest updates on JTET exam. The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Classes 1 to 8 teachers in the Jharkhand schools.

    The JTET exam date 2025 has not been announced yet. The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will soon announce the exam date for the conduct of the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2025 examination. It may be noted here that the JTET exam 2025 will be organized after a gap of 8 years. The exam will be organised offline in pen and paper mode.

Candidates who fulfill the Jharkhand TET eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The JTET eligiblity comprises educational qualification and age limit. Have a look at the basic JTET eligibility criteria in term of educational qualification and age limit for Paper 1 and Paper 2 below:

  • For Jharkhand TET Paper 1, candidates need to be Class 12 pass and two-year DEd/ DSE in Special Education in any category of disability
  • For Jharkhand TET Paper 2, candidates need to be Graduate or equivalent and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • The minimum JTET age limit is 21 years and there is no upper age limit.
