    Kerala SET is organized by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, for the students to be selected as Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE. Qualifying for the Kerala State Eligibility Test is stipulated as a mandatory requirement for candidates to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers in the State. The Kerala SET exam is of a four-hour duration. As part of the Kerala State Eligibility Test exam, aspirants have to give two papers. While Paper 1 is common for all candidates, Paper 2 contains questions from the subject in which the candidate had a specialisation at the post
