What is lab view? Will it be useful for ECE student to go for lab view training after second year ?

Hi Prajjwal, LabVIEW (short for Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is a system-design platform and development environment for a visual programming language from National Instruments. LabVIEW is commonly used for data acquisition, instrument control, and industrial automation on a variety of platforms including Microsoft Windows, various versions of UNIX, Linux, and Mac OS X. The latest version of LabVIEW is LabVIEW 2014, released in August 2014. Being an ECE student you should be strong at basics of core subjects and also good at programming. Doesn't matter which college you are from, it only matters how good you are. So first keep that feeling away. Do some mini projects using various ICs like 555 timer, DTMF You start working on some projects using Arduino and Raspberry pi, they would add to your resume and attract the interviewers. Softwares : Multisim - Circuit simulation, Verilog - Programming FPGA, Matlab For every subject of yours think if you can do some kind of simulation using Matlab or Multisim and apply your theory Take some online courses from Coursera or EDX Make the best out of your holidays Click on thumbs up or mark it as best, if you found this info useful.
