    The LIC AAO Mains exam is conducted online. There are two types of tests in the Mains exam for LIC AAO Generalist post-: Objective and Descriptive. The objective paper comprises 120 questions from Reasoning Ability, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Data Analysis & Interpretation and Insurance and Financial Market Awareness. The descriptive paper is of English Language Communication Skills. Have a look at the detailed LIC AAO Mains exam pattern along with the sectional timings:

The basic LIC AAO eligibility criterion for a Specialist is that candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution. Candidates should be at minimum 21 years of age to apply for the LIC AAO Specialist post.
