What is marking scheme in JEE?

Hello Abhijeet!
The marking scheme of JEE Mains exam is that you get +4 marks for every correct answer and - 1 for every wrong answer. For JEE Advanced the markings are not fixed and they vary every year. -
JEE Advanced 2018 Exam has two papers. Here is the paper wise marking scheme. Paper 1 has 3 sections Each section has different marking schemes. In section 1, for the right answer you can get 3 marks or -1 for every negative answer. In Section 2, 4 marks for every right answer and -2 for every wrong answer. In Section 3, for the right answer you can get 3 marks or -1 for every negative answer. Paper 2 also has 3 Sections. In section 1, for the right answer you can get 3 marks or -1 for every negative answer. In Section 2, 4 marks for every right answer and -2 for every wrong answer. There is no negative marking in section 3.

6 years agoFor Mains, it is +4, - 1 for correct and wrong answer respectively. For Advanced, they set it every year, they change the pattern. All the best.
